Weather

December is harshly cold and snow blankets the city.  Winds whip the icy snow and people scurry  about the streets hurrying to get indoors.  There are small reprieves now and then, with milder cold temperatures and less biting winds. The snows begin to melt and turn slushy with the hope of warmer days, but then the cold returns once more

The City
Despite the cold weather that followed the dreadfully gray and rainy Fall, people are cheerful this time of year.  The homes and shops are dressed in garlands and tiny lights.  Wreaths are hung on doorways and candles shine in windows.  The stores are displaying their best wares in the front windows and people are filling the streets in search of the perfect gifts, then making their way to the pubs to relax.   Taxi businesses are making money off the cold winds that keep people from walking to their destinations.


Werewolves

The idea of werewolves living among them has subsided some.  More people are focused on the coming Yuletime and seeing relatives again.

Some small anti-werewolf groups are springing up.  Their fliers are posted about should anyone want to join their ranks


The Jameson Posse

The biggest and most active group is the Jameson Posse. They are run by Ken Jameson, a middle-aged Full-Wizard from Morgan Le Fey Circle.  They have begun taking it upon themselves to guard the cities perimeters, detaining strangers and interrogating new people in town by paying unwelcome visits.  There is growing tension between these groups and the Carrick Guard.
