They are fearful of being found out as often entire families along with friends are brought before the courts, dragged off to jail or killed by assassins. Those who associate with are karcists are guilty by association in the community's eyes.
VampireVampires have longed lived among the people. They come in all varieties--some horrible and some leading a quiet and discreet life, utilizing a voluntary feeder or occasionally animals. The ones that threaten the community are targeted by the government for assassination by one of the Paranormal Retirement Teams. WerewolfSimilar to the vampires, werewolves vary in demeanor. You will find good and bad in their numbers and those that cross a line will be targeted by the government for assassination by one of the Paranormal Retirement Teams. The werewolves have lived long in this town as well. Most have their own small packs and keep their life discreet.
